Sustainability principles
Made to order
We work with a made to order principle, meaning when a product is ordered, we will start producing it. This ensures no material will be wasted. and no product ends up in a landfill. This however also means you have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for your product to be delivered. Get used to it!
Flat pack
To ensure the lowest co2 emissions during the logistic journey of a product, we make sure we don’t ship air! This to fill up every space possible. This means you have to assemble your product at home. Of course we make sure to give you the best guidance possible during the assembly process!
Transparrency
We won’t greenwash your product. We’ll explain all materials that we use during the manufacturing process and after. We like to be transparrent about sustainability within a product, this helps both us and you in learning what is and what isn’t sustainable and in which way it is.
Sustainable and durable materials
We work with the best materials for the function of a product, this can sometimes mean that we choose for a material with a slightly higher co2e emission, but if this means a more durable product, we will choose for this option. Of course we always explain or choises.
Locally produced
We work with local producers, meaning that we only have dutch producers. This is not only great for CO2e emissions, its also great for quality control. We want collaborate on a deep level with our suppliers to ensure a high quality product.
After care
To ensure our products don’t end up in a landfill, we take care of the products that we send into the world. Please contact us when your product needs to be fixed. Send your product back, and when we fixed it, we will send it to your home again.
